General Principles

This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter "data") within our online offering and its associated websites, functions, and content.

The hosting services we use serve to provide the following: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services, and technical maintenance services that we use for the purpose of operating this online offering.

Each time our website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files. This includes:

• Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
• Hostname of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. It serves to ensure a smooth connection setup and system security. The log files are deleted after a period specified by Strato (usually 7 days).

We have activated IP anonymization. Your IP address is shortened before storage to exclude a direct personal reference. You can revoke your consent to data collection at any time with effect for the future.

SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Google Fonts (Local Hosting)

This site uses so-called Web Fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform representation of fonts. To avoid data transmission to Google servers, these fonts are stored locally on our server. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. No connection to Google servers is established.

The use of locally hosted web fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

Links to Social Networks

On our website, you will find links to the social networks Instagram and LinkedIn. These are purely links, not social plugins (such as a "Like" button). As long as you do not click on these links, no data will be transmitted from you to these providers.

Only when you click on one of the links will a direct connection to the servers of the respective network be established. In this process, at least your IP address is transmitted. If you are logged into the respective network at the same time, the visit to our website can be assigned to your user account. We have no influence on the scope of the data that is transmitted to the respective provider by activating the link.
